Speed Networking event.

Speed networking is a short meeting designed to accelerate your business contacts to build a cooperative team. It involves multiple people that gather in a single space in order to exchange information.

You will get to share your professional background and business goals, and learn about backgrounds and goals from others. Everyone will share what kind of business they want to start, and you will have time to build relationships with others seeking to start similar businesses.

This is for folks who are interested in developing a cooperative, where the workers are the owners. Cooperative members come from all walks of life, and they are all ages and belong to all income groups. Cooperatives are different from other businesses in three ways: member ownership, member control, and member benefit.

Requirements:

• You must have an idea for a business or in the early stages of business formation.

• Come prepared to talk about your potential business, professional background, and share your contact info.

Come to this session, hosted by Green Worker Cooperatives, & learn about our Co-op Academy, a 5 month "boot camp" for cooperative start ups. We help your team go from business idea to launching your business in less than a year.
