If you're interested in starting a small business, or if you're already in early stages of business formation, check-out our Co-op 101 info session.
This interactive session is to show you how to:
- Create your own job & job security
- Own and manage a business with others
- Create a business that's responsible for its impact on the environment
- Take your green business idea and make it into a cooperative that benefits the employees because it is controlled by them
Come to this info session, hosted by Green Worker Cooperatives, to learn the steps you will need to start a business owned and controlled by you and others.
Bring a friend or potential partner and learn how you can participate in our Fall 2021 Co-op Academy to jump-start a worker-owned business.
Our Academy offers support on incorporation, training for fundraising, and most importantly, business model development. It's a 5 month course, providing the technical tools to launch a business that's owned and controlled by the people who work there.
We offer business coaching, business mentorship with a successful entrepreneur, how to operate as a "green" business, and connections to a cooperative network throughout NYC. All for free.
