We’re celebrating the births of 3 members of our team of powerhouses - Omar Freilla, Raybblin Vargas, and Noemi Giszpenc. And we’re doing it the way we love to, on the dance floor.
The Bronx’s premier yoga & dance studio, Sweetwater Dance & Yoga, has opened up their space to us!
8:30 PM - 9:00 PM FREE SALSA DANCE CLASS!
Boogie Down’s own world famous dance instructor Rodney Lopez (as seen in the film “Mad Hot Ballroom”) will lead a 1 hour Salsa dance class for the novices among you.
9:30 PM - 1:00 AM - PARTY!
All proceeds are going to support the amazing work we do at Green Worker Cooperatives building a worker-owned, green & democratic economy in the Bronx (and beyond)...from the bottom up ... and very much to the left.
